Fishing rules

A 24 hours license permits fishing with one rod for 24 hours from start. When three fishes (Rainbow, Brown or Brook trout) have been killed the license is used. For further fishing you need a new license.

A family licence permits one rod for each member of the family. The bag limit is five fishes together. When five fishes are killed you need a new licence.

A licence for a week permits one rod and three fishes a day.

To one rod no more than three flies may be fastened or one spoon with two hangers or one baited hook. It is not allowed to use live fish as a bait.

Afternoon licences You may catch two fishes.


Regulations Hökensås Nature Sanctuary
It is prohibited to damage trees and shrubs, to dig up plants or gather lichen and moss.
In order not to disturb the breeding habits of the Great Diver it is not allowed to enter certain parts of Nordvattnet and St Öjasjön during April and May.
When motoring, always follow roads marked in yellow. Motor traffic is prohibited on roads marked in red.
Making fires is not allowed. Only char coal/grill briquettes are to be used and in special grill places.
The use of private boats, canoes or such is prohibited.
Camping, over night stops in caravans, campers, etc. is totally forbidden.
Dogs must be kept on a leash all the time.
Rubbish must be disposed of in litter bins and sacks provided.
