Fishing rules for Baltak
Only fly fishing is allowed (spin fishing of any kind, plastic floats, spoons or baited hooks are not allowed). To one rod no more than three flies may be fastened. A day licence permits fising with one rod from 06.00 until 24.00. When three Rainbow trouts or Brook trouts have been killed the licence is used. For furter fishing you need a new licence. It is not allowed to use live fish as a bait. You may not have anything that smells on the flies. Boats are not allowed in the river.
You may buy licences in the small house at Baltak Fish Breeding Plant. The licence is personal and shall be kept at full sight. Please write date, both your surnname and Christian name on it. You can also buy the licence in the Tackle shop in Hökensås Holiday Village.
There is a possibility for spinfishing downstreams zon 6 towards Tidaholm. For this zone you buy the licence in Hagakiosken (after the bridge) or at the Touristoffice in Tidaholm.
